Great music and familiar characters make it a must-have!
Viewtiful Joe Red Hot Rumble, a very fun beat 'em up game that initially reminded me of Super Smash Bros. Melee, but later on, you can see that there are clear differences. I'm writing this after three years since I last played it, so I'll review it as best as I can.
Pros of the game:
- Many familiar characters from the Viewtiful Joe series make a return in this game

- The music is AMAZ-ING, even after three years, I could still hum along to it
- The game is much cheaper than Smash Bros. Melee but just as enjoyable
- A fun game to play with your friends

Cons: as far as I can remember, there aren't really any. Except for the fact that it's not as well-known, this game.

All in all, I give this game a 9/10 because it's just super fun.
Oh, and make sure to sometimes put the controller down because otherwise, your controller will get "red hot" from how fun it is that you just want to keep playing! Definitely a game that is a must-have.

Struggle for the Lead Role in Viewtiful Joe Red Hot Rumble
And action! It was quite fun to hear this for the first time. You find yourself in various auditions/scenes of a movie where you battle against your colleagues for the lead role! The first time, I was the worst on set. But after auditioning a few times, I stood out quite well among the group.
There are different ways to stand out. The most obvious one is to perform your tasks correctly. This can be: collect as many diamonds as possible, defeat the most monsters, don't die or even `Pummel Poseidon (Neptune)`. But it's not always easy because your enemies also fight against you instead of the monsters. That is also one of the factors the director pays attention to.
There are also VFX Powers. I always find these fun, even though they don't last long. Slow motion is the most fun (in my opinion). You can also speed yourself up or enlarge yourself with those Powers. And don't forget about the sound effects :).

In addition to the VFX Powers, there are also the VFX Games (or something like that). Then you get a big yellow ball with the letter V and you have to throw it away so that everyone gets sucked into it (sounds illogical but it's cool :)). These go very fast. Some are done in three seconds and sometimes you are divided into teams. But there aren't that many different games.
The Story Mode is quite annoying. There you get another task :(. But they have to be there too :). The last scene is very unexpected. But there it's all about `teamwork` and your only task is to defeat the boss. If you defeat it, there's another video and then the credits roll (which is always so fun :-/).
Like I said, a video :). Fortunately, you can always watch those videos again in Options. I find it very cool to go watch them.
